InactiveMy wife and I are new to the salt system that was added last summer to our pool and cant get our salt level to go up on the Hayward Aqua Rite. I have a reading of 1900 on the panel added 2 bags of salt last week and it did not go up from 1900. What are we doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Larry

KeymasterThe AquaRite does shut down in the winter when your water is cold and will not give a good reading of your salt levels when this happens. What is the temp of your pool water?

InactiveMy pool water is 41. When I checked the Aqua Rite it now reads cold and the 1900 is gone?

KeymasterOk then yes the water is so cold that the AquaRite has shut off. You can go get test strips to test your salt level during this time. The strips that have worked great for me are the AquaChek White – Salt Test Strips. They are very easy to use and come with complete instructions. We do sale the strips.
